Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)/Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Information

Participation in any of the advanced life support courses (ACLS and PALS) requires that every student is:

• Currently AHA BLS certified and has the current course provider manual.

• Students that arrive on the day of the course without proper BLS documentation or without the provider manual and pretest will be asked to reschedule.

• ACLS Classes are from 9:00am - 5:00pm.

• Cost for University Hospitals' employees refresher courses are $80.00 and for non-employee's is $120.00.

• Cost for university Hospitals' employee's Two day courses are $120.00 and non employees $200.00

• Books are $45.00 and may be purchased from Judy Gau at (440) 735-3513 or Judy.Gau@UHHospitals.org.

• If you MUST cancel an already scheduled class, notify Judy Gau at (440) 735-3513 or Judy.Gau@UHHospitals.org or suffer a $50 penalty.

CPR for Healthcare Providers

• BLS courses will be made available prior to the advance courses.

• The AHA BLS for HCP provider fee is $65.00 and includes the provider manual.

• The fee without the provider manual is $50.00 (the BLS for HCP manual is required for these courses).
